Heat Reflection

• Solar reflection: White fabric reflects the sun's rays instead of absorbing them, unlike dark colors.
• Temperature difference: Testing shows black cycling jerseys can heat up significantly more than white ones under direct sunlight. 
• Staying cool on race day significantly helps you perform better by preventing early fatigue and lowering your cardiovascular strain.

Note on shorts: While white jerseys are popular for cooling, white cycling shorts/bibs can show road grime easily and risk becoming transparent when wet.
