What maintenance intervals are recommended for my bike?
What maintenance intervals are recommended for my bike?
Riding a bike is fun! But if you want to continue having fun and keep your bike out of the shop for long periods of time, you'll need to ensure it's well-maintained.
Why? For starters your bike will be:
- Less likely to have a mechanical issue while on a ride
- Your bike will be as efficient as it can be, helping you ride longer and faster
- Helps keep your drivetrain free of squeaks and shifting smoothly
- Prevents your bike and its components from wearing out prematurely
With these recommended service intervals, your bike should stay in good working order and be dependable for you.

How do I get warranty service if I don't live near Mack Cycle
How do I get warranty service if I don't live near Mack Cycle
Warranty considerations can vary among different manufacturers. As the original owner of the bike or product purchased from Mack Cycle, you will have all applicable warranties for your product.
Most manufacturers will require a product to be inspected in person by an authorized retailer to determine if a warranty claim is applicable. This typically involves visiting a local bike shop that is a dealer of the specific product. We can provide you with a PDF receipt for your purchase, which you can bring with you as your original proof of purchase.
For many components and electrical systems on bikes that we carry, warranties can be processed by local bike shops that carry the brand of the component, even if they are unrelated to the manufacturer of the bike itself. Again, we can provide you with a PDF receipt for your purchase as your original proof of purchase.
If there are no bike shops within a reasonable distance to assist you, please let us know, and we can help work with you and the manufacturer toward a solution.

Do your stores work on e-bikes not bought from you?
Do your stores work on e-bikes not bought from you?
No. We do not service e-bikes from brands we do not carry.
Many direct-to-consumer and off-brand e-bikes use proprietary components and require manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools, software, and replacement parts that we do not have access to. For the safety of our customers and our technicians, we cannot assume the liability of servicing these systems.
If you have questions about a specific e-bike, please text Mack Cycle Service at 305 661 8363 and we'll be happy to let you know whether we're able to service it.

Why are one or more of the parts on my bike different from the spec sheet?
Why are one or more of the parts on my bike different from the spec sheet?
While brands spec their bikes with certain components, at some times they need to ship bikes to dealers with different components due to availability. While not ideal, if spec is changed it will always be for parts of equal value and performance.
In the bicycle industry, suppliers and factories may change specs without notice. This is because bicycles consist of numerous parts sourced from various vendors. Parts are sometimes updated to the most current production generation/iteration or changed based on their availability due to supply chain constraints.
This approach allows manufacturers to maintain a steady inventory flow throughout the year, rather than potentially facing delays of weeks to months or even a year for specific parts. For this reason, we do include the following disclaimer on every product page:
*Product specifications are subject to change without notice.
We appreciate your understanding should any of the information provided by our manufacturers be incorrect and regret any inconvenience such mistakes may create. Please bring any errors you may find to our attention via Live Chat on our website.
