Description

Commissioned by Specialized, Ron Jones custom painted this S-Works Tarmac for Julian Alaphilippe to celebrate Alaphilippe and his French nationality. Alaphilippe is a French professional road cyclist, former cyclo-cross racer and 2x reigning UCI World Road Champion. The distressed flag in the design is inspired by a shoe Alaphilippe was using to race. The design was adjusted to fit the shape of the frame. The base color is a red to blue shifter flake which changes based on the viewing angle. The whole concept is a "Red, White and Blue" theme to celebrate his French Pride.

Ride like the Frenchman, Julian Alaphilippe. His road racing bike of choice has been Specialized S-Works Tarmac for the past few years. His first stage win at the Tour de France in 2019 was stage 3. His first stage win at the Tour de France in 2020 was stage 2. You guessed it.... first stage win at the Tour de France in 2021 was stage 3!
