Specifically designed for heavy e-bikes yet versatile enough to work with almost any bike, the Kuat Piston ION carries up to two bikes at 100 lbs each with zero frame contact. A new Foot Pedal Lock and PedalPivot^™ system make folding the rack up or down simple and intuitive, while the FastFit^™ tool-free wheel chock system ensures quick adjustment for a wide range of wheel sizes.

The Kuat Piston ION isn’t limited to paved roads. It’s approved for RV use and off-road rated, so you can haul your e-mountain bikes deep into the backcountry or hit gravel routes with confidence. For RV setups, each tray supports up to 80 lbs per bike, while off-road use allows for 50 lbs per bike. With a 2” hitch-only design, adjustable wheel stabilizers for a secure bike fit, and fender compatibility, it adapts to the demands of riders.

Packed with premium details that elevate it beyond standard racks, the ION includes a semi-integrated 12mm high-strand cable lock, stainless steel barrel hitch lock, and an aluminum ramp for easy e-bike loading and unloading.
